Both the albums did not have much success and Ford was a bit absent from the rock world for a couple of years. In 1988, Ford returned to the spotlight with her smash album "Lita". Kiss Me Deadly was her greatest hit, as was the ballad Close My Eyes Forever and Kiss Me Deadly. The problem was that her popularity was short-lived after which she was absent for a few years. Her release of "Black" to the public in 1995 followed 'Wicked Wonderland', which came out nearly 15 years after. The year was 2016, and her most recent album'Time Capsule' it was made available. Guitar Player Magazine has awarded her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
