Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started working professionally as a teenager at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional included The Snow Queen. Then, she played Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and received a nomination for the Barrymore Award. She reprised the role as she made her Broadway debut at 15 in the production of Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was recognized as one of the nominees for a Drama League Award. Molly also performed on the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. Then she attended Princeton University where she was part of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with an B.A. She graduated in 2008 with an B.A. During this time she also made her film debut in Disney The College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly's acting career continued after her the graduation ceremony with a variety of Off Broadway productions, including them End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater.
